Written about a tough few months our daughter Leela had far from home as a teenager in Texas. The same descending melody is repeated 4 times over changing chords in an Escher-like illusion of constant falling. The most ‘free’ of all the pieces, this one goes
where it wants to on any given night. One of several tunes recorded in one or two takes after a meal break, returning to the studio tired, with our critical faculties on automatic, but with our soul antennae out.
